Tonkin's Bulbs & Perennials is a family business run by Jane and her mother Shirley Tonkin.
Their Dandenong Ranges mail-order rare bulb business dates back to the 1960’s and was built on Bryan Tonkin’s love for rare and unusual bulbs & perennials that were unavailable in Australia.
Jane has a particular passion for rare and unusual for cool climate woodlanders, and her favourite plants are Kirengeshoma palmata and new Polygonatum species like P. zanlansianense.
Jane will be bringing things like Lycoris, Nerines, Arisaema, Species Liliums, sun loving South American gems and a range of rare woodlanders including Pleione Orchids. She loves catching up with customers and other stallholders.
Tonkins Nursery is situated at Kalorama in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, Victoria, but during the Fair you'll find Tonkin's Bulbs and perennials, undercover, Stall 38.
